The use of unified cabinet platforms, choice of CompactPCI, industrial computers and Ethernet as fieldbus contributed significantly to solving the cost optimization task while maintaining a high level of functionality and safety. 68 Use of the resolvers in distributed automatic control system of a big azimuthal telescope By Stanislav Sinyansky, Vladimir Shergin and Valeriy Vlasyuk The article discusses the initial requirements for upgrade of the control system of a big azimuthal telescope and replacement of the centralized control scheme with a distributed network architecture of the automatic control system. The system operates in automatic mode and monitors crack width in concrete structures and records the piezometer and air temperature transmitter readings. The measurement results are processed in the BING-3 information-diagnostic system. SYSTEM INTEGRATION/ Buildings Automation 84 Upgrade of automatic dispatch control systems of data processing centers: problems and solutions By Gennadiy Gladyshev The article describes the current trends in modernization of the operating automatic dispatch control systems of data processing centers. Also discussed are the changes in the requirements for the modern automatic dispatch control systems and the user interface optimization issues. Particular emphasis is placed on the implementation of user-adaptive multimedia devices supplying urgent information about the emergency situations. It is also shown how the transit to the smart 64-bit SCADA automatic dispatch control systems with 3D visualization increases efficiency of dispatch services and makes the work of personnel more productive, more comfortable and ergonomic.
